Don't take life too seriously!

Remember when you were a kid and you'd paint every single nail a different colour? I don't know about you, but I never stopped doing it (and I get so much crap about it). But it's good fun and pleasing to the eye (at least mine). I know that so many people find it a sort of tacky no-no, but that's what makes me want to do it even more (childish much?).

Here's a some terribly fun, slightly tacky but oh-so-lovely nail inspiration:

I think I may have to recreate these carelessly cool looks in my next manicure. 

If a teen magazine say it's a do, then it has to be. Right?

My way: Bright, well thought out colours in a particular order(because I'm anal like that). Maybe i should learn to let go for a change! I do, however love the summery candy-tones that now grace my finger-tips. 

Russian Doll's lovely rendition of the trend. I especially love how she placed the pink by the dark red to create a bit of a clash, and didn't alternate between cool and warm colours as I usually do.
