Last of the summer wine

We took another lovely roadtrip down to the town of Naantali (yup, probably doesn't say much to any of you). It's a small towny thing by the sea and that's where H's parents left their boat for the weekend. We drove there with them and had a loooovely lunch at a boardwalk restaurant. I had the best chicken breast (wrapped in bacon, red-wine sauce, ratatouille, quinoa and a garden salad). Mmmmm :)

We parted ways with the parents and did a bit of exploring around the gorgeous town and I happened to find one of my favourite childhood treats: a Moomin lollipop! (for those who don't know what a Moomin is: Now is the time to google :P). The town was pretty quiet today compared to last week. Probably because it's a bit cooler and schools are starting soon/have started and it's more of a holiday place. Well, better for us!

I must say that this was a fitting way to wrap up one of the most amazing summers ever. Finished it with the person I started it with :)

Here are some random snaps from today:
A trainy thing

My verdict on the MONKI shoes: gorgeous but OUCH. They completely totaled my feet. I will give them another chance, but if they still kill me it's over between us. It didn't bother me too much since after the perhaps-future-in-laws left I whipped the shoes off an continued barefoot :)

Thrifted sailor-hat and the oh-so-gorgeous platform canvas shoes from MONKI

On H's parent's boat

I will do my very best to keep up with all of you daily throughout the year, but since it's (HOPEFULLY) my graduating year, I will have lots of work to do as well.

May all your summers continue beyond mine!

Thanks for being a part of making this summer so special <3
