Christian Dior, Spring 2012
The collection was not very surprising: classic shapes and tailoring with luxurious fabrics and sexy sheer bits. This glamorous collection really emulates what makes Dior so great. However, I wasn't exactly blown away by many of the pieces. This probably has a lot to do with my age, as I can't really see myself ever wearing most of the collection (check with me about Dior in 20 years!). However, these are the kinds of pieces I would absolutely LOVE to see my mother mix in with her (dull) business wardrobe for a bit of an injection of glamour.

| This oriental inspired dress was one of the definite standouts of the collection. It reminds me of a replica of a 50s dress made by a Chinese seamstress. Definitely something gorgeous, and bang on trend with all the oriental influences coming our way for summer. |
