One shoe wonder :)

I've always hated Wednesdays. Considering that, today wasn't too bad. I had time to reconnect with people I had lost touch with over the summer and to get to know people I never really talked to better. After an initial period of intense anxiety in the morning (that I sorted out with a brisk walk and coffee during my skip) I actually had a very lovely day. 

I started studying French! I only have two courses scheduled so far, but if all goes as planned, I wish to continue beyond that. Since I did a bit of French in middle school (with extremely poor success), I am still pretty much ahead of most of my classmates. When we get to the area I lack in, grammar, I'm sure they will catch up real quick...This time around I swear I will work for it, because I really want to learn!

My boyfriend made me dinner today and we hung out and watched the biggest loser :) Perfect way to wind down.  I also got a ride home. I don't know what I've done to deserve such a lovely bf (but it must have worked)! :)

The floral playsuit my bestie, S, bought me from New Look. A black knit from H&M. My wellies...sorry I'm getting so boring. I swear I'll wear different shoes tomorrow!!!

Barely visible- my single pink nail among the blue ones. I thought it was funny and cute,  people at school were just confused :P

As you can tell I've started to include a bit of music in my posts as well. I don't really know if anyone's interested, but music is the only thing that keeps me sane when things get stressful so I think I'll keep posting songs here when I feel like it.

A graphic tee, nerdy glasses and summer life

My favourite navy-striped knit with my favourite shoes and a scarf. The ultimate feel good outfit!

Got them for a euro at the fleamaret. They're so tattered I have to re-glue them after each use, but I won't give them up 'till I find a VERY similar pair.

Playing the domestic goddess: made my boyfriend parmeggiano filled ravioli with a zucchini pesto sauce (not from scratch, unfortunately...I'm not THAT awesome).

I had to enlarge this one a lot, so the T-shirt would be visible. My friend bought it from a store in Sweden that specializes in graphic tee's. This one feature my favourite band, the beatles, getting all dolled up :P

I added these nerdy glasses to to the outfit once we went out...it just seemed appropriate (even though they're SO 2009. Heck fashion goes in cycles, they'll be back in a year or 20. Then we'll see who's cool)

A (not so) secret love of mine. Bowling shoes. I just find them so quirky and adorable. I need to own a pair (plus these made my tiny feet look SO big!)

It's been a busy few days. To recap: mini golf and cruising with my boyfriend and two of our mutual guy friends, bowling  and dinner double-date with our favourite friend-couple and coffee with one of my best mates (shout out to her!)

I'm facing a bit of a conundrum: I'm going to a fun-park tomorrow and I have no idea how to look put-together without a fashion fail (skirt up by the ears, anyone?). Accessorizing will be a problem since I don't want to wear a scarf and jam a ride and die (that would be no fun at all). If I don't figure something out, we're looking at a VERY boring clothes day. Ouchies.

OH, and btw the prank worked (as I predicted) from a distance. But I guess it became pretty obvious that my hair was pinned up :P I guess need to start practicing my hairdressing skills...

A new outfit update...FINALLY

I've been having the most hectic spring ever, but thankfully now it's sort of cooling down. I started my five-day weekend today in the loveliest way. I slept in, went for coffee and a bit of shopping with my best friend and then made hot-dogs and sunbathed on the balcony with my boyfriend. Right now I'm experimenting with my new tea tree oil facemask from the Bodyshop (trying to get that flawless summer skin, I'll update you on that later!) and enjoying the first warm day in ages.
Today's look is a little recycled from one of my previous ones to illustrate how one piece can be worn in two very different ways.

Re-wearing my T-shirt dress (from first blog post), now giving it a more dressed down feel with a loose knit some chunky bracelets and a small leather bag (my lovely sister's).

My shining stars: Giuseppe Zanotti ballerinas. I'm not sure if it translates to the picture, but they sparkle!!! (and go with absolutely everything)

My "feelgood" bikinis, amazing hippie-printed wonder of a top and my trusty black bottoms. TIP: I only ever buy tops, and match them with the bottoms to save money for other purchases. Plus my bikini-bod which I've been working hard on. Not perfect, but hey, I love to eat to the extent I'm practically a Tribbiani! (And the camera adds about a bajillion pounds...right?!)

And, yes, I know sunbathing isn't good for you. I don't smoke or drink a lot or participate in any other destructive behaviour, so dammit I will sunbathe!!

Lovely day behind me, washed the mask off and my skin feels insanely smooth. Looking forward to another great day with my bestie tomorrow and getting rid of some of my old clothes at the flea market on Saturday.I hope I'll find it in me to wear something gorgeous tomorrow, so I can come out with another update.
