Most people go over the top with dieting (not me, I love Pizza), my strange addiction is henna for hair. I started wanting just a slight hint of red when the sun hits my locks. After stumbling upon pictures of one of my hair-goddesses, Karen Elson, I might want to give the whole fire-engine thing a try:

I love men. I love looking at men. I love their hair, their eyes, how tall they are...but most of all I love their clothes! I hear so many complaints about there being too little to wear if you're a man. So today I wanted to make a post (in a very loving an non-malicious manner) especially to inspire any fellar who has the misfortune of finding themselves here- and for you girls who are looking to spice up your man's wardrobe.

If all of the above seems a little too gimmicky: remember that aren't many things hotter than a plain white shirt and jeans (except for no shirt)

Happy Birthday H

My boy is nineteen today! We celebrated with a lunch of noodles and a very long nap (he forgot to put the alarm on and ended up missing his lessons). I surprised him with two types of brownies I made specially last night :)
I had my second driving lesson today and I actually got to go out in traffic! Don't worry, nobody was killed :P I'm actually really starting to enjoy it. 

Now I'm looking up cool venues to have my b-day party in February...I'm such an early bird!

This Christmas I... Saw something funny

This is a quick one: Everybody's familiar with angry birds, right? Well it looks like we Finns are making the most of it: we visited a tech store nearby and we were stunned and amused to see an entire section dedicated to angry birds merchandise and we just HAD to get a few snaps of it for you lot :)

This Christmas I...GOT MAIL

You may remember that about a month ago I won a giveaway by Mr and Mrs Tweed at my lovely miss. Poliennes blog. Well last week I got a note from the post office saying that I had a package to pick up! It waas a gorgeous shiny golden package, but what was on the inside was even better: a beautiful green shirt dress that has absolutely stolen my heart :) What a great start to a new year.
I was dying to style it, but as I was staying at H's I didn't have too many accessories or garments with me, so it turned out quite simple(but cute!).

They also had this cute checklist and a fortune cookie in the package, which just added a very glamorous touch

I plan on wearing it again on the first day of school (tomorrow :/), so you can look forward to much better pictures!

This Christmas I... PARTIED

NYE was absolutely amazing :) First we went to a fancy dress party and we got to see one of our friends who now studies in Denmark, which was a rare treat. And then we headed to another party with a bunch of school mates and had a super duper time. The only downside was when a drunk bastard tried to kill us all by aiming fireworks at the lot of us at the first party...but thankfully we all got out of it unharmed!

This Christmas I... went on a cruise

A bit of a silly picture, but it shows the length of my new hair. Whaddoyathink?
My outfit was just a warm coat, scarf, jeans, H's flannel shirt and a funky lil hat from H&M

Last week my family and I took a day-cruise to Tallinn in Estonia for a lovely day of pampering at a salon and shopping. H came along as well as he tends to be a good laugh and hasn't visited Tallinn in around 10years. It was a pretty basic day filled with sightseeing and food (LOTS of it sushi, sweets, African cuisine and coffee house treats.). We did it family style and played card games on the ferry, good fun :)
I went in for a trim at the salon, but the lovely lady spoke very little Finnish or English so I ended up with a little bit more of a chop. I'm over the initial shock now and I'm sure it'll all be back in a few months!

Clearing my head

I've purposely taken this week for myself to just chill without any pressure from school or anything else. I'm just staying with my bf and seeing friends and just pretty much recharging batteries :)
I had a fabulous NYE and I have a cool picture of my glamorous 1920's charleston dancer costume to prove it ;)

I also have quite a few other piccies from this week to show to you lot as soon as I get them on the computer...so stay tuned!!!!
