Tea for two

 Today at about noon we headed to town to gather all sorts of yumminess for our picnic. While out we noticed how cool and windy it was, so going out to the islands was not an option. We got a bit goofy and set up a "nest" of all sorts of bedding on the living room floor and had our picnic there! We had an assortment of sushi, fresh peas, chocolate-dipped strawberries and Scottish fudge. All of my favourite food in one meal! :)
After the HUGE meal we ended up falling asleep, right there on the floor, for at least four hours. By the time we woke up, we were hungry again, so H tossed some sausages on the barbie.
What a lovely, lazy day :)

To match the cutesiness of the whole affair I went with a crop-top with a bit of a retro feel from Denim Co and my Topshop shorts

So my best friend's currently in France and unfortunately having a bit of a rubbish time, so here's a shout out to her! (She'll only see it when she get's back but still).

Mate with mates (yes, I know how it sounds)

Today's a public holiday (no exams!) so I went out on a picnic with some of my girlfriends. We had an abundance of food and drink including an Argentinian tea, Mate (or ma-tay). I was the first to try and it started out pretty strong, but as we passed it around it got slowly better and better. I'd describe it as tasting almost like a really strong version on green tea. Now I'm back home and studying for my history finals (woop, woop) and stressing out because the teacher promised us a hard exam...ew.

Mate and a little look at my outfit. Today I wore a paisley printed top from Zara, a Lindex knit and a pair of black jean-shorts. Also notice feather earring :) Despite the look on my face I actually enjoyed the tea a lot (and I had so much I had to go hunt for a loo right after). Fun social thing to do!
