Remember when you were a kid and you'd paint every single nail a different colour? I don't know about you, but I never stopped doing it (and I get so much crap about it). But it's good fun and pleasing to the eye (at least mine). I know that so many people find it a sort of tacky no-no, but that's what makes me want to do it even more (childish much?).

Russian Doll's lovely rendition of the trend. I especially love how she placed the pink by the dark red to create a bit of a clash, and didn't alternate between cool and warm colours as I usually do.
