You can't touch this

I've been indoors for quite a few days studying, reading magazines and watching tv and eventually this lead to me feeling a bit under the weather. I decided that it had to come to an end so I rang up my friend for a shopping date in the city. I came back with an abundance (at least for my usual standards) of lovely sales items for some pampering and beautifying. And venting to someone really helps with the frustration. Just what I needed!

This morning I opted for my floral H&M jumpsuit and a denim jacket. As I got dressed I feel I was possessed by MC Hammer. All I wanted to do was that silly little dance, so here's to one of our greatest fashion icons. Mr. Hammer!

Floral jumpsuit from H&M and denim jacket from H&M kids (boys section!)

combined with some *cough cough* wicked dance moves.
My mini-statement piece of the day: an Alchemy England ear-chain with the words "coeur noir" inscribed on the cuff

And dinsko strappy heels.

Sometimes when you're having a not so pulled-together day, it's good to have a bit of a giggle at yourself :)

This little piggy wants a time machine

By now I think you lot might have noticed how much I'm inspired by tv and movies. Well yesterday I watched a tv-adaptation of Agatha Christies Poirot: Five little pigs, and I fell in love with the vintage prints and hairstyles all over again! I love the femininity with a touch of rebellion, the luxurious fabrics, the fabulous headdresses and jewellery.I'm obsessed with classy black and white photography and all of these images I found are so gorgeous, the girls, the clothes and the setting. If I could turn back time...

Here's a bit of a vintage-mix of inspiration for you too:

A few of my favourite things!

Unveiling: my new jumpsuit! Probably the most genius invention since pre-sliced toast. I love how it's actually acceptable to go out in something so comfortable. I first found this glory of a garment in H&M about a month ago, and checked in to see if they had my size around 3 times a week. I finally found it yesterday. The best part is that it cost only 19.90 euros! I paired it with gladiators (also H&M, 15 euros) and aviators (flea market 1 euro) and a black cropped jacket (also from the flea market). I was also carrying the big bag I bought on Saturday.
Doing some chilling and grilling with friends tomorrow after my English finals, and on my day off (Thursday) I'm taking a ferry to this lovely island with a group of friends for a picnic.
