Again, again!

The roadtrip was so cool we decided to do it again on Monday with a little more time :) Today we were picking up H's parents, so we were on their schedule and couldn't really explore the town.

Here are a few pics and my OOTD:

An evil eye anklet

Evil eye bracelet and a metal ring, both from Turkey

Girlfriends are the best stylists

Yesterday we made bacon and egg sammies in the morning and watched the biggest loser :) Later we headed to Ikea for some imaginary furniture shopping. I ended up buying a set of 3 spatulas (partly because they cost 50 cents, partly because my horrific cooking ruined one of mum's and I figure it would be a nice gesture...). We had a 2euro lunch there: 2 hotdogs, 2 drinks, a cinnamon bun and 2 coffees. INSANE! I was so full that I barely made it back to his car!
Later I met up with one of my bestest friends in town for some window shopping and just general catching up. We later came back to H's place to play Mario-party . He was having a boy's night and I needed some moral support. So we locked ourselves in his room and played for 2½h (it might'v been nice to play something different for a change, but that's the only game that I'm clever enough to play...)

A slightly sheer dress-shirt from Turkey tucked into a pair of TOPSHOP shorts. Also featuring my new bag.

Topped off with various red details: Sunnies, a red necklace (worn sort of like a cravat) and a ring (see the next picture).

A little over a year ago when we started dating, all my man would wear were PUMA-shirts (most of them incredibly worn out) and black jeans that he'd grown out of. As endearing as it was (really, it was) some advice in the fashion field never hurt :)
Here he is wearing some of his pressies from Turkey:

Chinos from one of the markets and a TOPMAN shirt with the cookie monster on it (how could I NOT buy it?). To prove that he really has developed a sense of style: the blue cradie, which he not only bought all on his own, but also paired with the outfit all alone :)

Adorable, huh?

Today we're driving down to the summer-house for a bit of a getaway, but I'll get back to you lot on Thursday!

Thank you ever so much to all of you who've been commenting, I try to get back to each and every single one of you (and I think I have. Then again I'm so unorganized chances are I missed someone.. :/ )

I wish you lot the bestest of the best!

Pagrilicious glamour

Pagri being the Indian word for turban :)
I had a really lovely day sale and thrift shopping with the best mate. Found some really cool things and later mucked about with an old t-shirt and some fabric paints (please don't expect too much!).

The outfit: Zara LBD, Turban from Seppälä, Necklace from Kicks and my faves: ASOS-sunnies and Giuseppe Zanotti  ballerinas.

Closer look at the turban and my thrifted earrings.

Lots of love

And it's warm again!

Summer's back after a few weeks of  ridiculously  chilly weather!
Today I'm heading for town for a history study-date at a café (I have my matriculations coming up in the autumn, so I have to get cracking). I might let myself take a peek at the sales, but I'm going "officially" tomorrow with my trusty shopping sidekick.
I have been dog sitting for almost two weeks now, and as sweet as the puppy is it makes a HUGE mess everywhere and howls like I've never heard before...so I'll be more than happy to return it on Thursday.

Here's my outfit inspired by yesterdays research:

Maxi dress thrifted (only 20 effing cents! Definately one of my better finds) I'm thinking of shortening it after a few wears to make it more versatile (gotta make the most of those 20c), quite a bit of jewellery, my denim crop vest and my Giuseppe Zanotti ballerinas.

Ear cuff with a chain from an ethnic store here. Cost about 7euros.

Bracelet from Liberia and my new favourite nail polish. I love the peachy-beige with my skin tone. I just recently found it from the bottom of my nail polish container and I hate that the label had rubbed off so I can't tell where I could get more... If you know of brands with similar colours lemme know! :)

Two for the price of one

Blogposts, that is since I forgot to upload yesterday's outfit :)
Todays been lazy, late breakfast and a bit of grocery shopping. I made chocolate fruit salad for luch (which I have yet to eat) and for dinner I'll make a variation on Sunday's chicken- instead of pesto I'm making a red-wine sauce and a bernaise. I'll probably read a few magazines today and eat my fruit salad while watching episode after episode of the bachelor. Haha lame, but chill!

Yesterday's outfit: a playsuit with the jewellery from my graduation and a hat that I found at the flea market on Saturday (for just 2 euros!!!)

I was feeling girly in the morning, so I opted for a feminine sundress from H&Mwith my trusty Giuseppe Zanotti glittery ballerinas.

Hopefully I wear something presentable again tomorrow ;)

A new outfit update...FINALLY

I've been having the most hectic spring ever, but thankfully now it's sort of cooling down. I started my five-day weekend today in the loveliest way. I slept in, went for coffee and a bit of shopping with my best friend and then made hot-dogs and sunbathed on the balcony with my boyfriend. Right now I'm experimenting with my new tea tree oil facemask from the Bodyshop (trying to get that flawless summer skin, I'll update you on that later!) and enjoying the first warm day in ages.
Today's look is a little recycled from one of my previous ones to illustrate how one piece can be worn in two very different ways.

Re-wearing my T-shirt dress (from first blog post), now giving it a more dressed down feel with a loose knit some chunky bracelets and a small leather bag (my lovely sister's).
My shining stars: Giuseppe Zanotti ballerinas. I'm not sure if it translates to the picture, but they sparkle!!! (and go with absolutely everything)

My "feelgood" bikinis, amazing hippie-printed wonder of a top and my trusty black bottoms. TIP: I only ever buy tops, and match them with the bottoms to save money for other purchases. Plus my bikini-bod which I've been working hard on. Not perfect, but hey, I love to eat to the extent I'm practically a Tribbiani! (And the camera adds about a bajillion pounds...right?!)
And, yes, I know sunbathing isn't good for you. I don't smoke or drink a lot or participate in any other destructive behaviour, so dammit I will sunbathe!!

Lovely day behind me, washed the mask off and my skin feels insanely smooth. Looking forward to another great day with my bestie tomorrow and getting rid of some of my old clothes at the flea market on Saturday.I hope I'll find it in me to wear something gorgeous tomorrow, so I can come out with another update.
Hope the sun shines wherever you are!!!
