Much ado about shoes

I finally bought a pair of much coveted Chelsea boots and I'm determined to wear them tomorrow, and to wear them right- mind you :) My pair is perfectly chunky and boho plus I got them for the lovely price of 3 euros at the fleamarket. Win-win for me!!! I've yet to decide whether I'll go the girly route with a skirt or the tomboy route with a great sweater, skinnies and a hat. Which do you prefer?

The girly way?

The tomboy way?

or the Alexa way? (any damn way the fashion favourite decides to wear them!)

I'm still trying to figure out my way.

Sooooo tired

I am completely wiped out, even after spending the better part of today in bed. Last night was super and I managed to get some snaps of it (I'll post them as soon as H sends them to me), I enjoyed the free champagne and tasty marshmallows, but didn't really get to much shopping. The long lines to the changing rooms and the terribly unflattering minty green jeans that I tried on sort of put me off. But I did really enjoy the DJ and the general atmosphere. We continued our night out with sushi and a walk around town :)

Here are pictures of an outfit I wore earlier this week. Enjoy!

rocker tee, oversized knit and matching shoes and bag :) ahh the simple pleasures in life!

A little obsession

Liked this song when it came out. Hadn't heard it in a bit. LOVE it now.

Nice to know something good comes out of this country :P

My Kind Of Safari

You, my friends, are witnessing something truly rare: Ninja wearing a skirt. And a very practical and cute one may I add! A few weeks back at the fleamarket this little thing caught my eye, and despite the slightly jammy zipper it has become one of my favourite things to wear.
I spent a large chunk of last week in Härnösand in Sweden and despite the trip being about seeing relatives (well, my bff's relatives), we managed to squeeze some shopping in! I got a gorgeous pair of leather pants (which made S's parents as well as mine cringe) and a beach wave spray that is INSANELY volumizing (and only for 3 euros).
I have also decided to have a brow bar night very soon and try to recreate those classic Audrey brows (straight along the eyes with a kink in the end...okay so hard to explain) and also hopefully dye them a shade of two darker.
Finally: I HAVE THE WEEKEND OFF. Which means that Ninja is going fleamarketting. Ah, the joy.
Vest from Monki, random top, leggings, THE skirt and winter booties

plus I think I actually accomplished something with my hair and makeup :P That lipstick is absolutely stunning (as I should be, cos H and I spent about and hour trying to figure out the perfect shade!)

Treats!

Guess who gets to see Cubus' summer collection at a VIP party next Friday??? Yup, me (and a lovely +1...aka my bf:) The great thing is that everything is 30% off at the event ahhh yumminess. I just happen to have my eye on a sexy little red number, maybe I'll take that home with me.

+ I just found out my preliminary grade for geography and I'm very pleased. SO what seemed like a crappy day about 20mins ago got a helluva lot better as soon as I logged in, proving that the internet is magic.

HUGS AND KISSES!!! (Outfit pics coming up soooooon, I promise!)

Update on dresses

Following my post about graduation dresses, my fellow blogger (AND GUEST POSTER) Liisi recommended a site called chicy and I fell in love :) I found a couple of really adorable dresses that I'm seriously considering for my grad party... and without further ado here they are (feedback would be appreciated):

Pregnancy Chic

When I was younger I was SCARED of pregnant ladies. Now that the idea of a slimy little human being growing IN someone is slightly less frightening (I'm in no hurry to experience this for myself!), I tend to find mothers to be quite adorable with that baby glow and a cute big belly. I see many incredibly stylish mamas to be come into my Subway every day and it makes me go "ooh" and then HOW in the world do these women make a huge tummy look so glamorous. Lately I've seen pictures of terribly stylish preggo celebrities all over the place and that's what inspired me to make this post. Because it just proves that anyone can look amazing with a bit of effort.

Why are MINDS so hard to make up?

I am graduating in a few months. Invitations are just about sent out and the menu is planned...but the DRESS. Nope. Basically what I'm looking for is something timelessly elegant with a bit of a fun twist (something that won't be embarrassing in 10years) and something I can wear at my incredibly conservative school as well as a night out on the town. I've been shopping with friends countless times, but I've built this dress up in my head for so long that I can't possibly find anything that amazing anywhere.

Well today I did some internet research and this is what I came up with...not quite sure if any of these is THE ONE, but I'm getting closer.

Mango:

Pleated dress, 39.95e

Topshop:

Cleo Dress by Motel, 48 pounds

Asos:

Band of gypsies belted skater dress in bandana print,  50.10e

Skater dress with daisy lace, 52.75e
Chiffon dress with embellished neck, 46.15e

Zara:

Printed Hipster dress, 89.95e
Lace tulip dress, 89.95e

Here's my cry for help: do YOU know a fabulous store that ships to Europe with FABULOUS dresses? Any Ideas on where I could find a great dress in Finland or Sweden? AND: What do you think of the dresses above? (Which would be the best for me?)
