As some of you may have noticed already, I'm taking a bit of a hiatus from blogging. I'm working through some stress. I have come to find that I have a lack of concentration for everyday things like meeting up with friends or hanging out with my family, extending to things like blogging as well. My life just seems to be filled with a general feeling of restlessness and impending doom (gosh, that sounds so serious, but it's not something to worry about).

It's like I'm being pulled in all directions by people's expectations for me and I'm just trying to stay in one piece. Blogging has become a duty for me and there's far too much going on lately to keep up with it. Heck, there's sometimes too much going to even look presentable. So considering that this is a fashion-ish blog it would be a bit of a fail on my part to keep going on without the outfits. I'm trying my best to get out of this slightly gloomy and unpleasant place and I feel that dropping some of my duties and actually giving myself a proper holiday might do more good than harm.

I wouldn't really imagine being able to actually talk to many people about all of this, but through blogging I have been introduced to the most lovely people, so I couldn't just quit without a proper goodbye.

On a brighter note, I finally have my official acceptance for uni and will be making the big move to Scotland in September. Maybe then I can take the direction of this blog somewhere else than fashion and rather concentrate on student life, when I've worked through this little crises thingy.

Luckily I have my stunning, understanding, supportive and all 'round lovely man to help me through.

wannabe rocker

I have to start this one with an apology (AGAIN), for being absent for the past week or so. BUT (AGAIN) I have very good reasons (at least in my opinion :P). I've been working extra shifts to make up for the days I'm going to be off for my graduation festivities (starting tomorrow with rehearsals for Saturday's party and ending in a lovely little hangover day on Sunday).
To make up for it, I have a bunch of GOORGEOUS outfits I can't wait to show you!

One of my classic "oh god, I just wanna be in a rock n' roll band...please"-looks. My very much loved rolling stones tee, leather pants, tartan scarf, lovely leather shoes and bag and my favourite summer jacket.

Summertime and the livin' is easy

Jogging after work yesterday it definitely felt like summer, the sweat was running down my back and my eyes were blinded by the sun. But dammit, it felt good :) Today is my recovery day, and what better to do with it than shop? I'm dragging the old mother shoe shopping with me, as I've noticed that my collection of summer shoes is sadly dwindling in numbers due to various tragic accidents they've faced...and I'm in danger of being shoe less this summer if something isn't done about it- soon!

I want Candy

First mr. Franco posed as a fabulous drag queen for Candy magazine (dubbed the world's first trans-magazine) a year or two ago and now Tilda's edition has come out and she looks absolutely fabulous! It's no secret that I absolutely love androgyny (Hello, Grace Jones!), so needless to say that I think that this is absolutely brilliant! Maybe I should get my hands on a copy...

He's the one

I just HAD to show this off. H went shopping and found this adorable, bright, colour-blocked spring outfit ALL BY HIMSELF. This from the boy who wore exclusively PUMA clothes 2 years ago (seriously, shirt, jeans, sweater and shoes...all puma) and didn't even know his size till last year. This stylish man is mine and imma hold on to him :D

I am in LOVE with his cute T-shirt.

And shoes. Gotta love the shoes (a definite upgrade from his previous ones!)

Just the basics

Another quick outfit post of something I wore a while back. Nothing groundbreaking whatsoever, but an outfit everyone should own! Just your basic jeans and tee with a nice cropped jacket for a rocker feel. These are my usual building blocks for other outfits, but worn together they are just classic: so comfy...and a confidence boost on one of those pesky fat-days :)

And the magic of the outfit is in all those little details: shoes, belt and jewellery that bring it all together!

It's SO hard to get a decent pic of most dogs...not this one, it just sits there majestically and poses until he sees you're finished. Model material?

Such a perfect day, I'm so glad I spent it with you

I got a bit camera happy the other day, and these are the results. For a bit of background info: my bf has the most awesome rooftop terrace with a passage onto the actual roof of the 6 story building, and that's where we love to spend the summery days! It wasn't really warm enough to hang out there, but we brought up blankets, pillows and magazines and had a fake summer picnic.

High School does end

Results in today and I'm most definitely graduating and I couldn't be happier :) While I really enjoyed the courses at my school and most of the teachers as well, I can't say that I'll really miss a lot of people from my graduating class. Just the ones I came into HS already knowing. It is a damn liberating feeling knowing that I don't have to see some faces ever again!

 Even went shopping for a traditional Finnish graduation hat (or whatever you call those) and (of course) they only had a size too small and a size too big. I went with the big one, assuming that I could make up for the loose space with HUGE hair. Also I just had to celebrate my results with some nocciola gelato straight from Italy, along with a few trashy mags.

For the graduation ceremony in June, I plan to do my hair a little like this:

Can't wait to put one of these bad boys on my head and party like there's no tomorrow!
